A Plumbing Permit is required for:

1. Installations or alterations involving the water supply and distribution system, sanitary drainage system or vent system

2. First time installation of fixtures and appliances permanently connected to plumbing system(s). This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Bathtubs 
• Dishwashers 
• Garbage disposals 
• Hosebibs (exterior hose faucet) 
• Ice makers 
• Laundry tubs 
• Pressure reducing valves 
• Showers 
• Sinks 
• Sump pumps 
• Toilets 
• Water treatment equipments 
• Water heaters
